Problem
Flat maps struggle to show the scale and directionality of forced migration across centuries. Viewers need spatial context for regional powers and cultural identities — not only trade-route overlays.
Approach
An interactive 3D globe covering 1400–1900 CE, with a full user guide in-repo (docs/GUIDE.md). Local preview is intentional and simple:
python3 -m http.server 8080
No framework tax — JavaScript, CSS, and HTML aimed at clarity of motion and readable panels over spectacle.
Outcome
A self-hosted atlas for education and research demos, pairing geographic exploration with regional and cultural framing of the trade’s impact.
